Booking Policy

Thank you for choosing EventGuard Pro. This Booking Policy explains how reservations are accepted, confirmed, and managed. By booking with us, you agree to the terms below (together with our Refund Policy, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy).

1. Booking Requests & Confirmation

  • Bookings can be made through our website, email, or phone.

  • A booking is not confirmed until:

    1. Event details are verified (date, time, location, number of swimmers/guests).

    2. Payment (deposit or full) is received.

    3. A confirmation email is issued by EventGuard Pro.

2. Payment Requirements

  • Minimum Booking: 3 hours. Additional time is billed in 30-minute increments.

  • Payment Deadline: Full payment is required before the event unless written arrangements are made.

  • Deposits: A deposit may be required to secure certain bookings. Deposits are non-refundable unless cancellation is initiated by EventGuard Pro.

  • Payment Methods: Stripe, PayPal, or other approved processors. CashApp/Direct pay only when pre-authorized.

3. Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Clients may request rescheduling at least 72 hours prior to the event start.

  • Reschedules within 72 hours are subject to availability and may incur a $50 rescheduling fee.

  • All cancellations and refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Overtime & Extensions

  • If an event runs longer than scheduled, guards may extend coverage subject to availability.

  • Overtime is billed in 30-minute increments at the prevailing overtime rate.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate event details (address, start/end time, type of event).

  • Ensure safe working conditions (shade, hydration, restroom access, safe pool environment).

  • Maintain emergency access (clear driveways, visible addresses, unlocked entry points).

  • Ensure all guests comply with lifeguard instructions.

6. Company Rights

  • EventGuard Pro reserves the right to:

    • Deny or cancel unsafe bookings.

    • Substitute a guard if the originally assigned guard becomes unavailable.

    • Pause or terminate services if conditions become unsafe (e.g., lightning, violence, intoxicated guests).

  • In these cases, refunds/reschedules will be handled per the Refund Policy.

7. Weather & Force Majeure

  • Outdoor services may be delayed, suspended, or canceled due to unsafe weather conditions (lightning, severe storms, flooding).

  • EventGuard Pro is not responsible for cancellations caused by events outside of our control (“Force Majeure”), including natural disasters, emergencies, or government restrictions.

8. Agreement

By submitting a booking request, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Booking Policy, along with EventGuard Pro’s Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
